About Me

I grew up in Mumbai, a melting pot of languages and cultures from all over India. Since then, I have migrated west, spending many years in Toronto and later Ann Arbor. Now, I shuttle between coffee shops and bars in Chapel Hill.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial & Operations Engineering (April 2017) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a MSc in Business Administration from Kenan-Flagler, UNC-Chapel Hill (June 2019).

Back in the day, I spent 30+ hours a week building robots as a student and later as a mentor for FIRST Robotics teams. For my work, I was featured on Toronto Star, The Discovery Channel, and The Globe And Mail.

Outside research, I enjoy comics (particularly, Tintin), Indian history, Chelsea FC, and high-intensity training at OrangeTheory. To be honest, I secretly harbor hopes of becoming a stand-up comedian one day.
